Private Tour
Be a VIP on Your Private Tour
Our regular Day Tours are a great way to see the animals but you never know if you will be on a tour with no other people or with a dozen other people. In some cases you may just not be able to make it at a regularly scheduled tour time. Whatever the reason, we would like to be accommodating given our limitations.
Because we try harder to make sure your donations go to the animals, rather than staff, we don’t have a big staff that can always be available for giving a tour. To make it worthwhile to pull our limited staff and volunteers from the very necessary work of caring for the animals to give you a private tour we charge $110.00 for the first person and $55 per additional person per hour.
These tours are one hour long and you see the same things you would see on a regular tour. The difference is that you have the tour guide all to yourself and you can see the cats that most interest you as well as have the opportunity to linger to take photographs.
Private Photo Tours are a great tour for photographers both professional or amateur. These must be scheduled, paid and confirmed in advance at 813 426-5948 or E-mail [email protected]
For a private tour with the Founder Carole Baskin the price is $110.00 per person and a minimum of $550.00 per tour. These tours are the same duration as the regular tours (1.5 hrs) and you see the same things you would see on a regular tour. The only difference is that you have the Founder, Carole Baskingiving you the tour.
Let the reservations department know who you would like as your tour guide and they will check availability at that time. You can buy gift certificates for these Founder or Executive Level Tours as well.
All private tours must be scheduled, paid and confirmed in advance at 813 426-5948 or E-mail [email protected]
Rain checks available in case of inclement weather.

hi ive been reading up about your tours, my mum loves big cats and would love to visit but isn't very good on her feet and needs sticks or a wheelchair is your park accessible to her, we will be visiting orlando in nov2013 and would love to surprise her with a big cat tour, many thanks.
For 10.00 more, per person riding, you can have a golf cart follow along on the tour. So if just your mom is riding, it is just 10.00 extra and you guys can walk next to the cart. It is easier than pushing a chair, or even dealing with the motorized scooters.
thanks for the reply will definately look into coming next year, do we need to mention the golfcart when booking, it will probably be for 2 people
I am coming to FL next week. On my way home I'd love to stop at your Big Cat Rescue. My question is do you have to make reservations in advance for a tour? Thank you. Also what are your hours of visitation during the day?
Depends on the tour. Details here: http://bigcatrescue.org/visit-the-cats
