Feeding Tour
Feeding Tour at Big Cat Rescue
A bone crunching wild time you will never forget! Join us for dinner at Big Cat Rescue. Come watch keepers feed the big cats at 4:30 PM on Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays. Advance reservations are required. The Feeding Tour is 1 hour and admission is $55.00 per person. No children under 10 years old are permitted on this tour.
For reservations contact Info@bigcatrescue.org or call 813.426.5948
Watch big cat keepers feed tigers, leopards, cougars and more while observing from just a few feet away. As you walk around the sanctuary with our feeders your guide will tell you about the cats on the feeding route, their diets, and how they hunt in the wild.
The 1 hour tour is followed with a short and informal chat session with one of our big cat keepers. If you would like to shop in the Trading Post Gift Shop, please come well ahead of schedule as the shop will be closed before you return from the Feeding Tour.
The Feeding Tour is a short tour that focuses only on the cats on a designated feeding route.
This tour is a great follow up to a regular Day Tour. On the Day Tour you will see a greater selection of cats representing all of the species residing at the sanctuary.
Special Note: Because we are so fussy about our cats’ diet, we can not accept any donations of food.
If you are traveling with pets, you cannot bring them onto the property. Florida law (and common sense) prohibit you from leaving them in your car, even with the A/C running.
Watch this 7 1/2 minute video of big cats eating whole prey rats and bones on Bone Night at Big Cat Rescue. Once a week we have bone night in which the cats get ribs and whole prey rats. Watch as they enjoy their meals.
