Release Forms: No person shall enter the property without having completed a “Release & Hold Harmless Agreement.”
Regular Tours: Use the automated tour and the Vox system for all regular day tours, unless you have permission, from the Volunteer Committee to deliver the tour script yourself. The only exception for this will be volunteers that have received a special exemption from the Volunteer Committee, or on days when it is raining so hard that there is no way to protect the iPads or iPhones used on the tour.
Foreign Language Tours: If guests speaking a foreign language arrive at a regularly scheduled tour time and a volunteer who speaks that language is available the group will be offered a tour in their language at the regular Day Tour or Kids Tour rate. If the tour is not at a regularly scheduled tour time, then Private Tour rates would apply.
Tours – Oversold: If there are not enough Tour Guides to cover the number of guests that arrive for a scheduled tour time, each guest will receive a 2-for1 pass to return at a later date.
Release for Guests that Overheat: The General Release Form is sufficient to cover these types of incidents. The General Injury Release has been updated and uploaded to the Staff and Volunteer Committee .me sites.
Tour Promotion Notices: Special offers and tour promotions will be communicated as soon as possible to the volunteers and staff so that adequate coverage can be maintained.
Personal Tours: All personal tours must be pre-approved by the Coordinator and be led by a Certified Tour Guide. Volunteers may use their 10% discount for tour admission or give their guests tour passes that they have acquired through the reward program. Age restrictions apply to all guests on personal tours.
