3 held with tiger pelt worth Rs 5 lakh

BANGALORE: The CID Forest cell conducted a raid at Pandavapura Railway station in Mandya and recovered a tiger pelt worth Rs 5 lakh on August 15.

Three persons— Babu, Rangaswamy, and Siddiq Athulla— have been arrested in this connection.

The Forest cell has registered a criminal case in the Pandavapura police station under the Wildlife Protection Act.
