On May 25, the Chhindwara forest department officials had nabbed an 11-member gang of poachers belonging to Pardhi community with a metal trap near Linga, 110km from Nagpur, outside Pench tiger reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
A wildlife expert on the condition of anonymity said that the Chhindwara side of Pench seems to be turning into a favourite hunting ground for poachers as there are reports of good tiger dispersal on this side.
