A tiger killed a tribal woman trapped by forest department officials

and they succeeded in nabbing it around 5.30 pm.

An officer said the tiger may have entered the human habitat in search of easy prey as the big cat was aged and injured. As the big cat has tasted human blood, authorities are thinking twice on leaving the cat back into the forest. This is third tiger to be caught and brought it to Mysore zoo in the recent past. Few years back two big cats Kaveri and Brahma which were trapped in Kodagu have been kept at Mysore zoo.
