Big Cat Updates
Angie Bobcat was seen by Dr. Justin. She will remain in the recovery hospital for several days to get fluids and wait for test results to come back.
ACTION ALERT!!
Please speak up for big cats being exploited in a circus act in Cleveland!
The I-X Indoor Amusement Park in Cleveland, Ohio will be hosting the cruel Bengal Tiger Encounter circus act run by the notorious Frisco family and booked at the park by Capitol International Productions from April 6 – April 17. That’s 12 days the big cats will be forced to perform and live in tiny transport cages.
The best way to STOP these traveling circuses is to let Capitol International, the management company that books the acts, know that MANY people want to see an END to their practice of selling circus acts with big cats to fairs and other venues. Email Capitol’s owner David Musselman at davidm@capitolint.com and call him at 800-278-0002.

Thinking About Wyeth Bobcat
Thinking about Wyeth, today. She is now living wild and free on a wonderful section of land that is purr-fect for a young feisty bobcat.
Here is a video clip of her before she was returned to the wild enjoying a good scratch on her favorite log. Video by Jamie
Pool Party!!!
A Little Background: Each morning before feeding time the keepers go around and separate cats who live together. This is another reason having our enclosures built in sections connected by doors and tunnels is handy. Cats who normally live together will often fight if food is involved. We never want any cat to have to fight for food or be intimidated at feeding time. Therefore, we shift them to separate sections and close the tunnels and doors. We do not re-open them until all cats are finished and any scraps has been picked up and feeding tiles cleaned. When Keeper Desmond went to separate cats, Andre and Arthur stubbornly refused to leave their pool party.
Keeper Desmond F: The 2 reasons today why Arthur and Andre did not want to seperate for me into their pre feeding bubbles.
Pool Party and Pool Party.??????
Big Yawn!!
We just might stay in here forever!!
