Buster’s the big cat with eight lives left

BUSTER the adorable white Bengal Tiger cub is now a picture of health after being rescued from death’s door.

Shortly after being born in June, staff at West Midlands Safari Park in Bewdley found him cold, dehydrated and severely under weight.

Nurse Lucy Pearsall took him under her wing and nursed him back to full health.

He stayed by her side day and night, going home to Stourport-on-Severn with her in the evening where he enjoyed some “rough and tumble” with her four domestic cats.

He piled on the pounds and is now living among his fellow Bengals back at the park.

Miss Pearsall described the state of Buster when they found him.

“He was pretty much near dead really – if we hadn’t had pulled him out he definitely wouldn’t have survived.”

She said when he was at home with her the mischievous cub loved playing with her cats and would even jump over the stair gate and try to sleep in her bed.
