Leonor Varela sale en defensa de animales silvestres

Se trata de pumas, zorros culpeo y chilla, quiques, culebras y diversas especies de loros llevados al Centro de Rehabilitación de Codeff, especialmente por funcionarios del SAG que los decomisan, entregados por particulares que los habían mantenido en cautiverio o los han encontrado abandonados.

La actriz nacional Leonor Varela invita a ayudar a los animales silvestres que permanecen en el Centro de Rehabilitación de Codeff recuperándose de secuelas causadas por personas que creen que pueden tenerlas de mascotas o que fueron encontradas baleadas o atropelladas.

Se trata de pumas, zorros culpeo y chilla, quiques, culebras y diversas especies de loros llevados al centro, especialmente por funcionarios del SAG que los decomisan, entregados por particulares que los habían mantenido en cautiverio o los han encontrado abandonados.

“Algunos podrán ser liberados, pero otros no podrán volver a su hábitat natural debido a no contar con las condiciones esenciales que les permiten sobrevivir independientes del ser humano”, aseguró Varela.

La actriz agregó que “la Campaña de Apadrinamiento de Animales Silvestres consiste en la elección de uno o más especies, que pueden hacer una madrina o padrino; éste le aporta recursos económicos para su recuperación física”.
