Coordinator Report – Becky Gagliardo
What a great day today. Although we were a little short on volunteers, they all pulled together and got it all done. Big thanks to Rebecca Williams, Sarah Dupree, Sarah Copel, Matt Ruszczyk, Barbara Brooks for being cleaning machines. Alyssa Weber and Maureen Calderon did great on the Feeding Tour and the Keeper tour. Alyssa and Sarah C. also did the supplements which was a huge help.
Meredith Pennino came over and helped in food prep after her tour and Bridget Sardone also came over to help. Maureen stayed extra late to help finish up food prep and help with the chores.
We were able to get a feeding sign-off for Mazz today and an operant sign-off for Barbara and she also took a class.
Thanks to Afton for doing the PM meds so I could go to so the Rehab bobcats.
As always, thanks to the interns for doing everything and the gift shop people who made all the tours smooth today.
My ROCK STAR of the day was MAZZ – it was supposed to be her half day today but she came in to feed and then offered to clean and ended up staying all day to help with food prep and everything else that needed to be done.
My ROCK STAR cat today was all of them, but especially King Tut who got the zoomies this morning and climbed up the side of his tree and then ate all of his food and of course Cam – just because he is Cam.

Big Cats before dark!
Hey, all you cool cats and kittens! It’s Carole bringing Andrew Sardone to you LIVE on a 360 X as he follows along on the 3:00 PM tour. I know it’s not a great resolution but it’s a start.
Bobcats, Lakota & Sioux were rescued in 2017, from a failed zoo in Alabama. The zoo was shut down by the USDA in November 2016, after repeat animal welfare violations. 75 animals, including big cats, bears, and monkeys were seized and relocated to sanctuaries.
This pair of bobcats is very shy and reserved, they are not seen on the general tour of the sanctuary and often hide when people are nearby. Watch this video as we meet them up close and purr-sonal in 360VR.
This looks AMAZING if you wear Oculus Go, HTC Vive, Rift, Cardboard or any other sort of HMD. Get our inexpensive headset and support the cats at the same time at BigCatRescue.org/VR

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Selfie of Chris, Susan, Afton, and Brittany. This was taken on Giving Tuesday. THANK YOU AGAIN to EVERYONE who helped us reach our goal that day. The funds will go toward helping provide for the tigers that are coming here from Guatemala. Learn more at BigCatRescue.org/circusban

Beacher, the talkative Savannah Cat loves early mornings. He can usually be seen chatting at keepers and playing in the grass that is still wet and glistening from the dew.

Breezy Bobcat has sure aged gracefully. She is such a lady but can also be a real spitfire, as is typical of bobcats. Now that she is up there in years she is no longer able to climb her favorite trees to sleep in the branches so volunteers made her posts with little platforms resembling limbs low enough she can get on them but not high enough to hurt her should she fall. She also has normal platforms that were altered to meet her geriatric needs and she loves using them.
