December 13, 2018 – Lauren Grant

Beautiful day today! It was warmer in the afternoon so all of the cats were hungry and playful.  Priya Tiger is now out in Vacation.  Armani Leopard was brought home from FunCation.  Bobcats Max and MaryAnn were put into FunCation. They were a little upset at first, but they were already on the platforms within an hour 🙂

Hoover Tiger‘s open-air section was mowed and raked by Dylan and Tanya Chute.  Mark Mira gave him a new water box for his water bowl in the open air section.  Amanda Tiger seems calmer in the recovery cage today, but we all made sure not to bother her much.

Thanks to Stephanie Chaiser for coming in and helping check food prep and give some signoffs.  And thanks to Steph C., Mary Jerome., & Alyssa Engiles for filling the sickle freezer! Hopefully, they’ll be ready for the Keeper Tour tomorrow.

December 12, 2018 – Sue Messineo

Today was a beautiful day! Started out a bit cold, but we know how the cats love that. Cameron Lion, Andre Tiger, Hoover Tiger, and Keisha Tiger all ate really well today.

Thanks to Des for handing out cicles and giving cleaning sign offs. Thank you to the interns and Andrew, who stayed and helped with food prep and clean up. Thanks to Steph C, Tanya and Mazz for helping to unload the meat truck.

Amanda Tiger is in the outside hospital cage and is doing well. Frosty Serval seemed to like lamb. Savannah Cat King Tut LOVED his tuna cicle, Nabisco Bobcat was not so sure and then decided no. Tiger Lily was enjoying her tuna cicle and Dryden Bobcat enjoyed his blood cicle after I left.

December 11, 2018 – Devin Saari

It was so cold today we all thought we were going to turn into ice, but the cats loved it!  We had a good amount of volunteers come in today to help feed, clean, and do projects.  Megan Myers, Mazz, Dylan Lavigne, Susana Zhonga did an inventory of all of the meat and the chart on the computer has been updated.  Food-prep was done was before lunch thanks to Tanya Chute.

We had three school group tours today and they were all very happy to see the cats!

Victoria DiGiacomo did the cicle cats and they were very happy to have their ice pops even in the cold weather!  Amanda Tiger went in for her procedure today, she had he ingrown claw removed and she is now in the recovery hospital waking up.

Tanya Chute, Amber Johnson, and Andrew Myers organized all of the hospital cages so it looks very nice now!

Dylan Lavigne, Tanya Chute, Andrew Myers, Elle, Amber Johnson, Victoria DiGiacomo, Megan Myers all raked in and around the front section.

December 9, 2018 – Jennifer Ruszczyk

Rain rain go away!! Today we had rain pouring down sideways, ligtning, and tornado watches. While it was pouring we pulled together and got food prep finished early.  We got rainyday projects done as well.

Steven Becker made some supplement capsuls so we are ready for next week. Vanessa Ply, Mary Jerome, Tanya Chute, and Mazz organized and deep cleaned food prep. Dylan Lavigne and Susanna organized the tool shed. Candy Couserorganized the Vox systems.

We did so many projects I am sure I left some out. Even though the day started off rainy and gray we had a great day and got a lot done.

All the cats ate well and were frisky too!
