DENVER – A 2-year-old Sumatran tiger has joined three other Sumatran tigers on exhibit at the Downtown Aquarium.
Heran joins Marah, Besar and Jalan. Before coming to Denver, Heran made his home at the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
According to the Downtown Aquarium, Sumatran tigers are critically endangered. Fewer than 500 tigers are believed to exist in the wild.
The Downtown Aquarium is located at 700 Water St. in Denver.
