Chelsea is a volunteer keeper here, she is also staff who works in the office and heads up our Internship program. Monty became her pet rat after out-smarting rehab bobcat Spirit Feather.

When working around the cats we always have to be aware of where the cats is and how close we are to the enclosure because cats can move fast and they are always watching whether you think they are or not. We really wish this little guy could be wild and free, but since he cannot, with your help, we will give him lots of space, daily Enrichment, toys, medical & dental care, plenty of quality food, and whatever else we can to ensure him quality of life.
