Big Cat Rescue, Honey uses SitStay Clickers (Video)

(Dear Readers, I’m sorry, the video links about Big Cat Rescue were not working correctly. They are fixed! – Darcie)

Recently I’ve had some people tell me that they won’t even try clicker training because “it won’t work on my wild and crazy dog.” Take a look at these videos and let me know what you think now. Still think you can’t get your dog to do simple things like go into the kennel? Or get down off the counter? Or stay still while the vet draws blood? All of these things and more can be taught with clicker training. It’s easy to get you and your dog communicating. It’s fast and it’s fun. And guess what? It works with domestic cats, too.

In this day and age, sweet talk isn’t easy to do in most professions. Have you ever wanted to call someone ‘Honey’ without them saying back, “Please don’t call me Honey”? “Hi, Honey.” “Good morning, Honey.” “Want to go to a move, Honey?” “Hey Honey, where’s the tiger?”

Honey Wayton (I love this name) is sharing her love for the big cats with us, she’s the senior keeper at Big Cat Rescue. With no further ado, here is some clicker training of a wilder sort. These cats get their treat on a stick, something we don’t need to do with most dogs. Okay. Click right here…Honey. (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

SitStay.com has great, highest quality clickers. Custom printed clickers, clickers with no printing, and ones with the SitStay Logo (this one will help you save a little money for sharing SitStay with the world.) Click the wild out of your dog. Do it today…Honey. Okay that’s about enough of that! LOL!

We love the name too, but even love Honey more. She started here as an intern, came back as a volunteer and now is both staff and den mother to our interns.
