Cat Updates

Cameron and Joseph do not like eating off the feeding stick and they like the food placed just right in their mouths so for them we often use tongs instead of the feeding stick.

1/25/2017 Joseph ate all of his morning food, plus he ate an additional couple pounds in the evening with his meds.

Each day that Carole does a Facebook Live video she asks a question and the first person who answers it correctly wins a prize.  Go to Facebook and Like our Facebook Page and choose to get notifications of our live videos. Then participate in the contests, join in conversations in the comments area, too. Answer: Tiger Lilly was rescued with 22 other bobcats and lynx in 1995.

How to Find the Answer:  Go to BigCatRescue.org/catbio/ which is the list of all the cats here.  Click on Tiger Lilly's name and it will tell you how many cats came with her.

 Valspar Contest Update

As of 11 am, January 26, 2017 the cats had 7,787 votes at VoteCats.com

Reminder:  The cats could get about $1 per vote of the first 10,000 votes in the contest.  Currently the contest has a combined total of 8,812 votes.  Of those 8,812 votes the cats have 7,787.  That means that if the cats can get another 1,188 votes quickly they could get total of $8,975 for this first step of the contest.

ALSO, Please Note:  To win the $65,000 at the end of the overall contest the cats will still need several thousand more votes.  But for now, another 1,188 votes would be a great goal for this first hurdle in the contest.

Summary:  We NEED ALL of YOU actively sharing and asking others to vote for the cats.  We cannot do this without YOUR HELP!

This is a really great way to help the cats financially without it costing you a single penny.

With YOUR HELP, the cats can win up to $65,000!!

LETTER TO THE MANAGEMENT

Dear Sir/Madam:

We have been receiving numerous complaints from residents of your facility, to wit:

-Nikita Lioness is being harassed with love notes and inappropriate pictures by Joseph (“Joe Jovi”) Lion;

-A live video stream of Max Bobcat was being shown without his knowledge or permission, and to make matters worse, said broadcast was actually from a Kitten Cam in California;

-Joseph Lion is being stalked by two squirrels, “Get Off My Nutz” and “Got Your Nutz”;

-Zabu Tigress is being slandered and being called fearless and “quite scrappy” by Joseph Lion;

-The Biscuits and Sapphire never get treats at 5 pm like the rest of their neighbors;

- No one will let Kali catch a golf cart;

- A certain Keeper has been cheating on TJ, and has forced him to go on a hunger strike in protest.

- Nikita Lioness is being bullied online; when she naps, she is being compared to a chicken and a walrus.

These complaints must be addressed immediately or we will be forced to take further action. Please note that our newest partner, formerly employed by MI6, is on-site and will be carefully monitoring this situation.
