Another great day with the cats. Tons of tours and – we had around 350 guests. Went very smoothly.
Thanks to all the great volunteers and interns who kicked above & beyond taking care of the cats and doing the tours.
Thanks to Steven, Steph C and Dililah for coming back to help with the meds cleanup dishes.
Picky cats did ok today.
Big Cat Friend, Matthew B. made this collage.

To honor these cats on their birthday, let try to get 100 Calls of the Wild today. That is five calls for each cat. We can do this if everyone who loves one of these cats makes the call and asks a friend to make the call, too.
As of 9:00 am on January 1, 2018 the number of Calls to Wild are 3,787. By 9:00 and January 2, 2018 will YOU help us get 100 Calls of the Wild made?
By noon 27 calls had been made. We still need 73 people to make the Call of the Wild today. Will YOU be one of the 73? Will you ask a friend to be one of the 73?
Today’s goal of 100 calls would bring the call total up to 3,887. Will you help us meet the cats Birth Challenge?

Keeper Brittany Mira: Welcome 2018 and all the adventures to come! Starting our new year with the cats of course 😻 We had an incredible year with amazing experiences like wild bob cat releases, hospital procedures, lots of new residents and learned so many new skills… BCR 2017 will be hard to top but I’m sure going to try! Jamie Veronica: Cooper tracks and claw marks.

Some of you have probably noticed I haven’t sent any Christmas cards this year, mainly because Christmas seems to have happened straight after October this year 😉 So instead of spending a fortune on cards and postage, the money has gone to sponsoring you all an equal share in Gabrielle instead. Merry Christmas! ~Michael Heap

ONE: Gucci and Michaels Kors going fur-free, Ringling Brothers shuttering after 146 years and boosting the global movement against circus acts with wild animals, and China closing down 172 carving shops as it ends its domestic ivory trade are among the biggest gains for wildlife in 2017.
