It is going to be cold tonight so Babycakes was taken into the cat hospital where he can be warm. His den has a heated bed but we felt he needed inside where it is warm.
Lauren Buckingham’s Coordinator Report for Monday 1/1/2018
Today was a great start to the new year despite it being very cold.
We had lots of volunteers to help out. Food prep was done before lunch.
The “be a cat” area by the Gift Shop was cleaned up. Frosty’s cage was also done.
Raking was started in center between serval’s and on the tour path.
We had 5 tours go out this afternoon so still a busy day for tours.
Zeus ate well today and got his meds. He is really liking red meat at the moment
Operant sign offs were done.
Big Cat Birthday Challenge Update
Yesterday we celebrated the birthdays of 20 cats. To honor their birthdays we asked that 100 Calls of the Wild be made in 24 hours. We did not make the goal of 100 calls. After Carole gave the update on her live Walkabout Video this afternoon, another 9 people made the Call of the Wild.

Noel: An injured bobcat was left on the side of the road for dead on Christmas until a wonderful family stepped in to help her. Noel has two broken legs repaired by our vet in hopes to give her a second chance. BigCatTV.com
