Keeper Kathyrn Stapleton’s Coordinator Report for Friday, 1/19/18
Another chilly morning! Thanks to everyone who braved the cold to come out and feed and clean!!
We had just enough feeders and cleaners so no projects but got all the tours covered. Food prep was done before tour time. We had 3 tours. Thanks to Sue Reed for backing up a tour so one intern (Steve) could do most the clean up and chores while the tours are out!
Cats ate well today, this cold weather helps everyone be hungry.
That is it for me!

Seth Tiger is awake in his own lakeside habitat at Big Cat Rescue. Watch more at http://explore.org/tigerlake
Seth was born in 2006 so he’s one of our youngest tigers
While Seth is sleeping here peacefully, keep in mind that his early years meant being passed around as a pay to play prop, breaking his little bones from poor nutrition and then getting no medical help, and then freezing in sub zero temps with virtually no shelter until he was rescued a little over a year ago. Making the Call of the Wild at BigCatAct.com protects other cats from living such horrific lives.

Bobcat Rehab
Cooper is growing up, has honed his hunting skills, and has shown he is ready to have his chance at freedom in the wild, where he belongs. His release will be coming soon; until then, you can watch him on our Bobcat Rehab Cam. Find the link at BigCatCams.com
How did Cooper get his name? Find out at http://bigcatrescue.org/cooper
Big Cat Rescue believes wild cat species belong in the wild not in cages. That is why we do not breed here but instead work to educate the public on the need for new laws protecting wild cats from abuse and exploitation.
Sadly, wild cats born and raised in captivity cannot be released into the wild for many reasons. Find out about that at BigCatRescue.org/gofree/
Therefore, we take great joy in being about to rehab and release insured or orphaned wild bobcats back into the wild. Find out about our wild Bobcat Rehab and Release program at BigCatRescue.org/bobcat-rehab/
