Big Cat Updates
Ginger Serval has been doing very well but today she is giving the keeper trouble taking her meds. One of the antibiotics she is on is Batril and she recognizes it in whatever they hide it in. Carole explains more in the “Zucari Goes on FunCation” video below.
The second Augmented Reality Zoo is being set up on Brower Westfield Mall Plantation, Florida. Carole, Jamie, and Victor have been working on that. They gave us a great space right by their food court.

Cats on the Move
We normally do cat moves on Thursday but since Carole, Victor, and Jamie were all out of town yesterday setting of the second augmented reality zoo space the cat moving was done today instead.
- Sapphire has been given full access to her enclosure.
- Pharaoh has been given full access to his enclosure.
- Smalls has been taken into the hospital for observation.
- Kricket has been moved off funcation and has gone back to her enclosure.
- Zucari has been moved into funcation.
- Kali has been moved off vacation and is now in the enclosure next to Keisha.
- Amanda has been moved into vacation.

Big Cat Fact
Serval has the biggest ears (compared to the rest of the body). Serval’s ears serve as radars which easily recognize sound produced by moving animal (even when they are moving in the underground tunnels).
