Coordinator Report – Lauren Grant
Big thanks to Marie, Mark, & Mary for cleaning all the big cats.
During the morning we had a 19 person workgroup from the Tampa Bay Lightning to help the interns & Aleesa start the empty tiger cage by Duchess Tiger. They were a great help today! The tiger cage will be an ongoing project until the inside is cleaned up, so the interns continued working on it throughout the day.
Dylan and Aleesa also did some operant and enrichment sign-offs in the afternoon. Afton, Justin, & Lauren cleaned up some of the wood borders around the kitten cabana, and Barbara removed the plants on the side so they can be replanted elsewhere.
Abbey made some sicles for the keeper tours/weekend, and the interns filled the fridges with waters and Gatorade for all of us 😁
