Bhopal: The director of Kanha Tiger Reserve, R P Singh on Wednesday denied the charge that a cub was killed by his vehicle on April 12.

“The reports that the cub died after it was hit by my vehicle was totally false and baseless. No cub had died in Kanha in the last six days,” Singh told news agency PTI from Dehradun where he was attending National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) meeting.

About the NTCA probe into the matter, he said that he was not aware of it, adding that he would welcome if authority goes for the probe.

After probe, the truth will come to the fore as no big cat had died in the reserve forest area in the last six days, he added.
