LUCKNOW: The man-eating tiger of Kheri which was brought to the city zoo after being rescued from the place last month has been shifted to the tiger-house.

By next week, the public will be allowed to have a glimpse of the tiger that had killed five humans in the villages of north and south Kheri. The big cat was kept under special care after it was rescued from Kheri and brought to the zoo.

It is a male tiger not more than four years old. The feline was a bit ferocious in the start but has mellowed down over the time. “We will start bringing it out in its enclosure for the public to see from the next week,” said Renu Singh, zoo director.
