Dear Friends,

This year we have more than 100 reasons to ask you to please consider making a year-end, tax-deductible donation to Big Cat Rescue. Their names circle the alphabet several times over: from Apollo (lynx) to Zeus (tiger). From Andi (bobcat) to Zouletta (serval). And from Artemis (cougar) to Zimba (serval).

The cats can’t speak up for themselves. We are their voices. So we are appealing to you on their behalf during this season of love and giving. Your generous donation will allow us to continue to rescue abused and abandoned exotic cats, provide them with excellent nutrition and medical care, and work to pass strong laws to protect captive big cats in this country.

It’s been a tough year for us. We worried and fretted over the many cats who needed surgeries and procedures in 2014. And we shed countless tears over the passing of several of our beloved cats, including the iconic King and Queen of Big Cat Rescue, Shere Khan and China Doll.

But there have also been many moments that made our hearts soar. Like watching Zeus and Keisha, tigers rescued in May 2014 from horrible conditions in New York, enjoy their very first Thanksgiving turkeys. Or seeing young bobcats Max and Mary Ann, introduced in February 2014, become best buddies as they run around their spacious new enclosure.

We are so very grateful for your amazing support of our sanctuary and cats! We hope the cats can count on you one more time as 2014 comes to a close and you consider making your year-end, tax-deductible donations.

Best wishes from your Big Cat Rescue family for a purrfectly healthy and happy New Year!
