Coordinator Report – Devin Saari
It was a fun day today and we had just enough people come in to get everything done!
Food-prep was finished early thanks to Mazz. Sharon Henry did the cicle cats. Sign-offs for enrichment and operant were completed today for those that needed them. Bridget Sardone, Stefanie Kraus, Fred Pagan, and Devin Saari worked in Nabisco’s enclosure today. The bubble closest to Apollo is completed but the one closer to Gilligan still need to be worked on. Fred Pagan cleaned the kitten cabana so the kittens can go explore soon!
Thank you to everyone who helped out today!

How can you tell the difference between a real sanctuary and a fake one?
The word sanctuary means a place of safety. Therefore a sanctuary should be a place an animal is safe, safe from harm, safe from exploitation, and safe from misery.
Just because an animal facility uses the word ‘sanctuary’ in their name does not mean they are a true sanctuary. Since there is no government rule on who can and who cannot use the word sanctuary in their name the public is often fooled into thinking a facility is a sanctuary when they really are not.
So then, how can you tell the difference between a real sanctuary and a fake one?
