Coordinator Report

March 18, 2019 – Lauren Buckingham

Very busy Monday! Steph C. got food prep done before lunch which was a huge help as everyone went on tours in the afternoon. We sent out 7 tours today, 2 in the morning and 5 in the afternoon. A huge thank you to everyone that helped out with them!

Candy, Rosel, Steph K., Fred, and Caity worked on the roof section of Zabu’s old enclosure. It is mostly finished, just needs a little work still around the outside. Michael did some work in Nabisco’s enclosure. He also fixed a number of the mowers and weedeaters.

Keisha was given access to the two bubbles of the enclosure closest to the solar panels. She was very excited to explore but then spent most of the afternoon sleeping in the tunnel between home and the new space.

The visiting cougar was moved to the outdoor hospital recovery cage. I cleaned the recovery hospital inside. Thanks to Bethann for doing PM Sicles. Picky cats ate well.

A huge thank you again to everyone that came in to cover all aspects of today. Its always great to see you all 🙂

March 19, 2019 – Devin Saari

Today was a very cold and rainy day but everyone worked hard to get everything done!

Food-prep was finished early thanks to Tanya Chute. Sharon Henry did the cicle cats and Marie Schoubert fed the picky cats and everyone ate well. Sign-offs for enrichment and operant were completed today for those that needed them. Mary Gagliordi made new cicles of all flavors.

The project for today was working in Zabu’s old enclosure, we were able to finish it today thanks to Megan Myers, Caity Farr, Tanya Chute, Mazz, Fred Pagan, and Michael Heap. Michael Heap also worked on some of the barricades that needed fixing around the sanctuary.

March 20, 2019 – Kathryn Stapleton

Great Day Today! Weather was nice a bit chilly in the morning but warmed up to a nice afternoon. Thanks to everyone who came in to do tours!

Thanks to Michael Heap and Victoria DiGiacomo and Tanya Chute who worked on the empty Tiger Row cages. Tanya and Fred Pagan got food prep done and cleaned up before lunch. Jennie Jamison did several Private tours and an afternoon tour. Megan Myers did the 10 am tour. We were able to send out four afternoon tours thank to: Fred Pagan, Mazz, Jennie Jamison, Dennis Mitchell, Elizabeth Heath, Bhrielle Vasquez, Caity Farr, and Christina Cochard

Thanks to Cindy Kuharek, Marie Schoubert, Mary Jerome, Phyllis Middaugh, Caity Farr, and Christina Cochard who were in to get cleaning and feeding done as well!!

Zabu has access to her entire cage and she was patrolling all over the cage today!
