We were a lean and awesome group today. The weather was great so it made all our hard work pleasant.
We had a work group from University of Tampa come out and Emma and Mai led the group. They raked and weeded the Texas tigers enclosure. We had great volunteers that finished the project at the end of the day. Since our volunteers were working so hard we were able to free up our interns to offer extra tours for guests.
We even got some cleaning and specialty tour sign offs done. Our picky cats ate well today.
Other Tidbits:
Loki was found playing with sticks so he got a new toy.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Lauren Buckingham’s Coordinator Notes for 3/26/2018
Had a great day today and had a good number of volunteers to help out.
Food prep was finished before lunch which allowed us to open a 4th tour in the afternoon.
MC and Vanessa stayed in the afternoon to help feed cats, do cicles and also get some projects done.
MC mowed the bank behind the texas tigers, there is still some weed eating that needs doing.
Myself and Vanessa worked on Mayas cage, intern Lisa came and helped finish up.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Letter To Management” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left” google_fonts=”font_family:Open%20Sans%20Condensed%3A300%2C300italic%2C700|font_style:300%20light%20regular%3A300%3Anormal”][vc_column_text]FROM THE LAW FIRM OF CATZ, KATS, MOREKATZ AND A RAT
March 26, 2018
Dear Mr. B. Cakes:
Our office was notified this morning that at some point today one of your Lesser Associates stole the new baby bobkitten’s stuffed squirrel.
Astonishingly, the culprit not only admitted to the heinous crime, but had the audacity to brag about it on Facebook and post a picture!
We expect swift and immediate action be taken by your office against this Lesser Associate.
We also demand that the stuffed squirrel immediately be returned to the bobkitten in question.
If your office does not comply with our demand, we will be forced to take further legal action.
We hope it does not have to come to that.
Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Wirgonna Getchu, Partner
Afton’s Note: Uh oh!! Kathryn and I squirrel-napped the stuffy, but don’t worry it will be returned soon. It’s for a good cause!
