Big Cat Updates

TJ is shut in his roofed section until we can get a fecal sample.

Little Dove is shut in out of one of her sections so that we can clean her den in that section.

Zeus is locked out of one of his sections so we can work on his pool.

JoJo is certainly enjoying being back outside. He did not appreciate being kept inside the hospital.

Nikita’s Cam: The switch on Nikita’s cam died. The new one will arrive today and we hope to have an expert hook it back up tomorrow.

ACTION ALERT! Please speak out for this tiger cub being used for photos RIGHT NOW in Sebring, Florida!

The notorious traveling zoo called Jungle Safari (formerly The Zoo) exhibits all over the U.S. and charges the public to hold tiger cubs for photos and also exhibits adult tigers in tiny transport cages. Please contact Lakeshore Mall and CBL & Associates Properties, the mall’s management company, and POLITELY educate them that it is cruel and abusive to exploit tiger cubs as photo props and force adult tigers to live for weeks or even months at a time in tiny transport cages. Please speak up for this cub and let the mall and the mall owners know there are many people who love big cats and don’t want to see them exploited as photo props in traveling zoos. Request that Lakeshore Mall never again allow any zoo to exhibit animals on its property! THANK YOU for speaking out for these voiceless cats.

Recent Server Security Error

The last few days some of you have been getting security errors and couldn’t view our updates. The problem has been fixed now on the server end. We had asked you, our amazing viewers, to send us screenshots. As always, you came through right away!! BECAUSE of YOUR HELP our server was able to find and correct the problem!!

Here is the note I got from Carole: Flywheel says the screen shots I sent them from our viewers helped them find the issue. Something about there being two SSL certificates; one that came w/ the server and the one I bought and they added, so they were fighting each other. I don’t know how they could tell that from a screen shot, but they say there shouldn’t be any further issues. Some people may have to clear their browser history, cache, or buffer but on the server’s end, it is supposedly fixed.

It was not actually a security risk.

Note To Viewers: People with the problem may need to clear their browser history or flush the caches but if on a mobile device they may need to flush the buffer. If you need instructions on how to do this let us know and we will look those up for you.
