Massachusetts zoo presents jaguar conservation program

The Stone Zoo, 149 Pond St., winter hours run Oct. 1 through March 31, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The zoo will be closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Regular admission prices are $7.50 for adults, $4.50 for children ages two to 12, and $6.50 for seniors. While winter rates are in effect, the admission price for adults, children and seniors will be reduced by $1 each.

Learn about jaguar conservation

Did you ever want to learn more about the incredible jaguars that call Stone Zoo home? This Saturday, Nov. 4, 10 a.m. to noon, you can do just that at the jaguar conservation program at Stone Zoo. Participants will explore how zoos manage captive breeding programs and learn about jaguar natural history and conservation. A behind-the-scenes tour and talk with the jaguar keepers will be included. This program is geared toward participants ages 15 and older. The program costs $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
