What a beautiful day! Thanks to Matt R. and Bethany for giving a full Feeding Tour. Dylan gave the Keeper Tour. Sarah C. was the keeper and thanks to Becky for giving sign-off for both. We also got to give feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and operant sign-offs. It was a busy tour day, so big thanks to the tour guides and gift shop volunteers.

Thanks to Rich, Barbara Ann, Matt R., Sarah Copel, Kristen, Amanda, Alyssa, and Gina for feeding and cleaning. Welcome to our newest keeper Nicole. Dylan, Tanya, Sarah C., Barbara Ann, and Amanda cleaned up and grass seeded the first bubble of the empty enclosure by the staff offices. MaryAnn Bobcat and Hoover Tiger are both doing well.

When reporters interview me, I've started asking if I can record it too, as I have an audience who usually wants to hear the whole thing, rather than just selected clips. It's in front of my green screen and that is old footage of Shere Khan and China Doll. See some cute footage of Max & MaryAnn having fun, a serval and even a glimpse of Mickey Cougar at the end.

Bobcat Rehab - Sky & Kittens Overnight Report

Good morning,

Sky and the kittens had a good night of napping and playing a bit. They nurse and sleep together out in the open every night now.

Overnight last night, they were nursing and heard a noise or something. Sky went into alert mode and the kittens quickly ran for cover under the den. It was amazing to watch them do what I assume Sky taught them to do if they feel threatened. They came back out shortly and started playing and wrestling. It's so cute when all three of them wrestle together.

I've noticed that the kittens don't follow Sky everywhere now. Sometimes they do, just not all of the time. Before if they were out playing and Sky went to the den or in the middle section of BRIC, the kittens would always follow her, now they don't, they just continue to play. They also venture into the other areas of the enclosure by themselves now.

One kitten was on the left side of the front part of BRIC and the other two were on the other side by the wood den and they were playing through the fence. Every once and a while you would see a little paw come through at the other two kittens. So cute! Other than napping and wrestling, they had a quiet night.  They are SO adorable! :-)
