Big Cat Updates
Guide to telling Rehab Bobcat kittens, Cobalt, Azul, and Indigo apart, photos, too.
Hoover Tiger goes home to his new suite of cages. He has three cages, two of which are at least 1800 sqft each and a third that is almost as large. He has pools, toys, platforms, big dens, and at least one nest cam. His suite of cages is along the shore of Tiger Lake so he will LOVE the gentle breezes off the lake. See the video below.
Amanda Tiger moved down 2 cages towards Sapphire.

Coordinator Report – Kathryn Stapleton
Was a good day. Getting hot out there. Thanks to Marie Schoubert, Susan Reed, Andrew Myers, Phyllis Middaugh, Mike Enders, Brittany Mira, Mary G., and all the interns for feeding and cleaning today.
Marie and Sue did cicles with the cats and made some more. Sue stayed to do fly traps and get Keisha to eat some more. Mike helped Karma with kittens. Tanya Chute, Ofek Krauss, and Austin got Amanda’s old cage ready for Hoover.
Thanks to Afton Tasler for helping get Hoover in the transport and back in Outback. Thanks to Dylan Lavigne and Tanya as well.
Thanks to Mazz and Dylan, food prep was done early and a lot of work on the empty cage by staff office was done by Andrew, Mike Enders, Tanya, and Dylan.
Thanks to everyone for helping with tours so projects could get done.
That’s it for me.

Rehab Bobcat – Sky’s Kittens – Telling Them Apart
ID guide for Sky the rehab bobcat’s kittens for those of you who watch them 24/7 at BigCatRescue.org/cams (just click on the cam link titled Bobcat Rehab).
Azul is the smallest. The top of her head and along her back is very dark.
Cobalt is the biggest. He has a light colored horseshoe pattern on the top of his head and prominent spots down his spine that look like a racing stripe.
Indigo is the middle child and has a light and dark speckled head and some speckled spotting down her back. If you have screenshots of them you can post them in the comments and I will do my best to ID them for you.

Hoover Tiger goes home and Carole chats about Hoover, Dutchess, recovery cages, cameras, sanctuary equipment, etc. Hoover Tiger is DONE with the hospital cage and happy to be going back outside. He will be moving into the two tiger enclosures closest to the Enrichment Center, where he will have lakeside views and breezes and his own dedicated Nest cam so we can keep an eye on his progress and reach him better for his snacks and meds. Find his nest cam link at BigCatCams.com
It’s Kitten Season so the Kitten Cabana is full of foster kittens.
