FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Neighbors in Fort Collins got a surprise Tuesday afternoon when they spotted a mountain lion.The cougar was found about 4 p.m. near Lee Martinez Park, according to the Fort Collins Coloradoan.The newspaper said police officers and Division of Wildlife officers followed it, the mountain lion walked to a gas station at Shields Street and Vine Drive and hid under a utility trailer.
But before an officer could dart the cat, it ran to a nearby ditch and kept going.
