WEST EL PASO – El Paso police were called out to the 700 block of Westlake this morning after someone reportedly saw a moutain lion prowling the neighborhood.

Police say a homeowner heard their dogs barking then spotted the lion in an empty lot behind several homes.

Officers searched the area but told us nothing was found besides some possible paw prints.

Anyone with information on the lion’s whereabouts is urged to call police.
