Coordinator Report – Angie Gabor
It was a great day today! We had lots of awesome volunteers that helped us take care of the cats. Many of them stayed after cleaning and helped with food prep, picked up sticks.
Barbara Ann, Bethany, and Amanda replenished the small cicles.
Lots of sign-offs were done for Feeding, enrichment, and specialty tours.
Gertie lost all of her power in outback and we had to push her all the way back to the front a.k.a. new Big Cat Rescue Bootcamp training. Gertie is our golf cart with a hauler bed. Poor Gertie is getting old and cantankerous.
It was nice and cool and the cats were out and very frisky!
Are YOU a Fence Sitter?
YOU CANNOT Sit on the Fence! If you truly want to end big cat suffering you there are TWO THINGS to consider:
1) You simply cannot in any way support the cub pay to play and cub photo schemes that pump so many big cats into the private pet trade, canned hunts, trophy hunts, pseudo zoos, backyards, and yes even in tacos & wine.
2) You must get motivated, and stay motivated, to make the important calls of the wild, EVERY WEEK at BigCatAct.com
To Simplify it —-> You choose… 1) Selfishly wanting to play with a cub or 2) Stepping up to help end the suffering. Which is more important to YOU? 1) Selfish desire or 2) Ending the suffering …
Yes, you really do need to choose. Sitting on the fence or not bothering to make those weekly calls is what allows the industry to continue.
Please don’t sit back and assume enough other people will make that call so you won’t have to because too many other people are already sitting back doing nothing assuming YOU will make the call and they won’t have to.
We cannot do accomplish this without YOU, and YOUR CALLS!

Guatemala Rescue Update
ADI is LIVE right now at the temporary custody camp in Guatemala where circus tigers are being kept safe pending their trip to the U.S. and S. Africa where they will find peace for the rest of their days in sanctuaries.
