Today is #GivingTuesday! Can our cats count on you to help us raise $64,000?
This year there are two grrrr-eat ways you can help our cats today on #GivingTuesday!
#1 — Facebook and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have teamed up to match $2 million of donations raised on Facebook on #GivingTuesday for U.S. nonprofits. So YOUR DONATION WILL GO TWICE AS FAR to feed our cats as long as those matching funds are available! Afton will be going live on Facebook this morning at the top of each hour starting at 8:00 AM ET through at least noon. She may go live even more frequently if lots of you want to participate and donate! All you need to do is donate to Big Cat Rescue on our Facebook page using the DONATE button during or after the live feeds.
#2 — We have set up https://bigcatrescue.org/give to accept your #GivingTuesday donations to feed our cats throughout the 24 hours of #GivingTuesday.
This year we will use your much-appreciated #GivingTuesday donations to help feed our 60+ cats. Our annual food bill is $200,000 – more than $16,000 each month!
We feed our cats the highest quality, most nutritious meat we can buy in order to keep them healthy and happy. Our goal this year is to raise $64,000 on #GivingTuesday — this will feed every mouth at the sanctuary for FOUR MONTHS!!
