Was a chilly but pretty day at BCR. We had lots of volunteers and interns to brave the chilly weather. Feeding and cleaning were done way before lunch. Food prep was finished before lunch as well. Thanks to Bridget and Tanya.
Des, Megan, Andrew, and Dylan worked on a vacationing tiger's cage so she can go home tomorrow. Des and Bonnie did pm snacks and the cicle cats.
The interns and Des and Bonnie helped move Andi and Max back out side (See video below) and cleaned up the hospitals. All the hospital cages were cleaned and put away. Afton did PM meds and got everyone to cooperate.
Thanks to everyone for working so hard in the cold today!!

Feral Kitten Rescue Update
From Afton's page: Marshelle’s first treats, and she took them from my hand. She’s going to make a great pet when she realizes she is safe.
From Afton Tasler: I got to spend some precious time with Marshelle before her new mommy and daddy came to take her home. I’ve cried many tears of happiness for this kitten. She is getting what she deserves, and now she will know what true love and kindness is. She has the best parents I could ask for!!!

As you may have heard, Marshelle isn’t going to the Humane Society because she found her furrever home. I brought her to the staff meeting for some socializing, and someone fell in love!!! I couldn’t be more happy for her!! As a bonus, I can get endless updates on her progress!!
