Coordinator Report
It was a beautiful day out!
Lots of sign-offs today from feeding, cleaning, tours, operant, and enrichment. Thank you to all of the trainers!!!
It was great having Andrew Blackwood back to the sanctuary to help out! He worked all day getting food prep done. He also did some cleaning and organizing in Food Prep. We got a bunch of new Tupperware and meat containers so he and Dylan washed it all so we can start using it.
Team Afton and Steph, with the help of new keeper trainee Amber, took care of a few small projects around the sanctuary. The van was swept and mopped from the rehab bobcats being in there. We made sure all of the golf cart batteries were hosed off and filled with water. We also cleaned the rehab crates, and they got put away. After projects, we then went around to enrich the cats during tours so the cats would be out.
Steph and I helped Jamie and Carole load the old cat cage and then went to the office to play with Narla and give her treats. Today marks one year that Narla was brought inside and “working” as office manager. We took time to celebrate with her.
Intern Mazz knocked out a big pile of dishes, cleaned the cooler, and super scrubbed the cooler door.
And lastly, it was great seeing all of the partners that came in today! It is wonderful to see all of the new faces. They worked on projects in the gift shop and backed up specialty tours, private tours, and afternoon tours. You guys rock!!

Today was an eventful day! New volunteer Shelby was a huge help as well as Matt, Melinda, and Nicole! Tours went smoothly with the help of Alyssa C., and Alyssa E., and Nicole! Thanks for all the joy and work you put in today! 🙂
