Yesterday was EPIC for big cats!
Our Senate bill S1381 had a hearing and the only oral suggestion made by anyone in the room was that the exemptions be more narrow to insure that the bad guys don’t manage to slip through the cracks to deal in big cats. Passing the Big Cats and Public Safety Protection Act will end so much suffering! Champaign was flowing last night!
Dive to Save Lives
The sanctuary is home to over 100 lions, tigers, bobcats, cougars, servals and other species most of whom have been abandoned, abused, orphaned, saved from being turned into fur coats, or retired from performing acts. Interns come to us for 3 months at a time and work around 60 hours a week. They can complete up to 4 internships – Lisa, Lauren, Ciara, Erin and Cody are all in their 3rd and 4th level.
Please donate whatever you can towards this amazing cause and be part of saving the lives of big cats.
