Coordinator Report – Devin Saari

Very eventful day today!  Great day today! We had just enough volunteers to get all the cats fed and cleaned as well as some projects.

Tanya smashed food-prep getting it done and cleaned up before lunch! Alec reorganized the food-prep drawer under the computer that holds all of our pens.  Mike, Tanya, Kerry, and Dylan were able to weed eat around both hospitals and in the parking lot.

Later in the afternoon, it did rain but Megan, Mike, Tanya, Dylan, and Abbey all still worked on the new dirt ramps for Reise’s new enclosure. They look great!  Another leopard was moved into Armani’s old cage next to Sundari.  Maya was moved to a new suite of cages.

We took Reise into the hospital today so that we can shave off her matted fur.  She is doing great!

The cicle cats loved their icy treats!  Enrichment and operant sign-offs were completed today, meaning lots of happy cats, volunteers, and interns!
