KittyCon in Tampa
The first ever KittyCon was held by the St Francis Society Animal Rescue. By all accounts, this was an amazing success. More than 15 cats found their forever homes, vendors were selling out of merchandise and you could hardly move because there were so many people, many in full cat costume, in attendance. https://www.kittycontampabay.org/

My breakfast was another fundraiser success and I will be bringing $200 with me in cash to the walkabout on 11/3/18, plus another $10 online donation for a total of $210 in donations. Everyone loves it when I cook or bake and my coworkers are very generous when it comes to supporting causes such as Big Cat Rescue.
We feasted on baked apple French toast, gourmet scrambled eggs with fresh spinach, mushrooms & cheese, fresh fruit of bananas, grapes, kiwi, & strawberries, homemade pumpkin bread, apple cider and pumpkin spice coffee and/or cappuccino. I love fall flavors and waited for the season so we could have such a wonderful feast.
I also sent out an email of the books I brought in of Joseph, TJ, and Mickey along with a couple of your quarterly newsletters and other pamphlets I’ve collected. I often share BCR information with my coworkers via email or in person and they truly understand how passionate I am about the cats.
I’ve also shared with them to make the call of the wild and some of the facts about these amazing creatures. We all agree they don’t deserve a life in cages! -Melanie

Letter To Management – Nikita Lioness

Dear Sir/Madam:
So I finally got on The Royal Throne. What else could I do? It’s been sitting here for what seems like forever in my favorite napping spot.
However, my not-so-loyal subjects have still failed to take care of my original demands (trumpets for my arrival into the courtyard, Royal Guards, and chicken snacks to be placed on the throne). Instead, they gave me a pumpkin. A pumpkin! That does not look or smell like chicken, people!
Well, I showed them what’s in store for them if they don’t acquiesce to my demands.
Now, let’s talk.
I want chicken. I want pillows. I want the throne to be painted in royal colors of purple and gold. And basically, I want what I want when I want it. No more of this waiting and watching. I am the Queen and demand to be treated as such!
Oh, and I definitely want the trumpeters there when I make my entrance for the Walkabout. And don’t forget the pillows for my loyal subjects to kneel on so they can adore me.
Work quickly, loyal subjects. The Walkabout is less than a week away.
