Keeper Lauren Buckingham’s Coordinator Report for Monday, 10/2/2017
We had a cooler day today, especially in the morning, which was great. The cats were active and everyone ate.
Paintings were made for the starz award recipients, they are in the staff office.
Work started on cleaning up diablo’s enclosure, two bubbles are done, the rest will need doing in the next few days.

Letter To Management
Dear Sir/Madam:
I understand that there has been some drama in the Vacation Rotation this week between Cam and Joe, and Cam and the Texas Tigers. I don’t know what else you expect; those stinky tigers can’t keep their eyes off of Zabu, and Joseph just loves to agitate. The only decent gentleman over there is Zeus. Even Amanda likes him, and that says a lot. But I digress.
I know that Zabu wears herself out marking everything in their enclosure when they get back from vacation, simply because her frenemy Kali has been living there for those two weeks and marking everything as hers. I’m pretty sure Kali does it on purpose.
And Cam doesn’t get to vacation at all because he’s so busy guarding Bu and trying to take care of those prying eyes across the road.
I believe I have a solution for you. This Thursday, simply end their vacation early and move my brothers into the VR instead. It was SO peaceful here when they were gone. A girl does need her alone time, you know? I had such a relaxing, joyful time, and got so much attention from the keepers! Attached is a little something to make your decision easier. Please give this your immediate attention, since it’s already Tuesday.

Upcoming Big Cat Dentals
October 7th and 8th the following 6 big cats are tentatively scheduled to see the dentist team: Zabu, Seth, Gabrielle, Andy, Priya, & Sassy
While each cat is out of the cages a well organized large team of volunteers will go in and work like crazy doing a deep cleaning and of each cat’s set of cages.
