PA wildlife center’s new lynx ambassador shows why wild animals make bad pets

Our Newest “Special” Patient

Saber is a Canadian Lynx that was a “pet” for 4 years. She is suffering severe malnutrition and has 4 broken canine teeth from being hit with a board. To regain her health, she needs long-term rehab and extensive dental work.

Saber is not a releasable animal. Once recovered, we hope she will become a Red Creek “ambassador” teaching people why wild animals should not be pets.
