**A NOTE FROM DEE: Alot of misinformation here, but I followed up with an e-mail to them about the article. A copy of my e-mail is posted below the article.
Three very rare white tiger cubs have been revealed to the public at Santiago Zoo in Chile.
The as yet unnamed cubs – two boys and a girl – are still being fed by their mother Luna.
The species is the target of heavy hunting in their natural habitat and it is believed there are only 200 white tigers in the world.
Despite a difficult start in life the cubs now – one month and seven days old – are in good health and zoo officials are happy with their progress.
White tigers often grow to be bigger than their orange and black striped brothers – and could reach up to 130 kilograms in weight.

To Whom It May Concern:
While searching for news to post on my site TIGER NEWS http://savethetigers62.blogspot.com/
I found the article about the white cubs in Chile on your site http://itn.co.uk/news/573b50c916c5fc9f583b866b6a861707.html
Many people do not know that the only way to produce white tiger cubs is through severe inbreeding, that is, of brother to sister, father to daughter and mother to son. Inbreeding results in many defects; these animals are bred to be exploited and suffer the consequences for it.
One of the most indepth articles I have read about white tigers is called “The White Tiger Fraud.” Here is the link to the article: http://bigcatrescue.org/cats/wild/white_tigers.htm
Please take the time to read this article; before I read it, I never knew the truth about white tigers.
I look forward to your reply to this e-mail.
