One half of the famed stage-show duo Siegfried and Roy, Siegfried Fischbacher announced the act’s retirement in a German publication on Tuesday, according to the Associated Press.

The AP quotes him as saying to the magazine Neues Blatt, “Roy and I miss our audience, but there will not be a comeback.”

Partner Roy Horn was left partially paralyzed following a devastating attack by one of their white tiger’s during a 2003 performance. In regards to Roy’s recovery, Siegfried said, “It is a miracle that he can stand on his own feet again and enjoy life.”

The famous white tigers from their Las Vegas show reside, along with lions and an elephant, at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage.
