Submit your poems, stories, facts re: Wildcats in Captivity

The WildCat Conservation Legal Aid Society is preparing to publish its first academic-legal journal in mid-September 2009 (summer issue) and the second in late December 2009 (winter issue).

The Journal of the WildCat Conservation Legal Aid Society provides a unique forum for professionals, scholars, and students to analyze and comment on the issues affecting wildcats around the world that reflect the perspectives of all disciplines including:  law, education, medicine, science, philosophy, religion, humanities, social science, and art.

The theme for the summer issue is “Wildcats in Captivity” and the winter issue is “Hunting, Trafficking, and Trade of Wildcats.”

Shorter essays and book reviews dealing with wildcat conservation and commercial issues, along with wildcat poems, art, and photography are also welcome. Information on submission requirements and deadlines is available on our website at:  (The new deadline for the summer issue is September 4th.)  The Journal will be available as a "free download" from the WCCLAS website or a single copy purchase.

We would be honored to receive your article, short essay, book review or art!  If you know any colleagues or students who may also be interested in submitting material for inclusion in our Journal, please feel free to forward this email to them.

Your support is greatly appreciated!

Best regards,
