Announcement 

This is a first announcement and invitation to participate in the International Conference «The Amur Tiger in Northeast Asia: Planning for the 21st Century“.

The main goal of the conference is to gather academics, activists, and wildlife professionals to discuss Amur tiger conservation, i.e. to review the present status of Amur tigers in Northeast Asia, previous efforts to alleviate threats, previous, current and future scientific research, and to define conservation steps needed to ensure survival of the tiger population for the coming century. 

The conference will be held in Vladivostok, Russia, 15-18 March 2010. 

At the beginning of July 2009 we will provide detailed information on conference themes, registration, fees, abstracts, facilities, accommodation and travel arrangements.
