Thunderhawk given 10 more days to file suit over alleged animal theft

As another lawsuit against the Central Florida Animal Reserve was filed, Judge George Turner gave disputed tiger owner Ray Thunderhawk 10 days to resubmit his own suit.
Citing technicalities and language issues, Turner dismissed several counts of Thunderhawk’s lawsuit but gave his lawyer, John Boelke, 10 days to resubmit the motion.
Thunderhawk is suing several people with the animal reserve claiming they stole his tigers, lions and cougars by illegally replacing him as director and then banning him from the property.
The second lawsuit was filed by Bonnie Ringo of Oregon. She said she loaned Thunderhawk several big cats for breeding purposes, and she has yet to receive any cubs. Thunderhawk believes his replacements may be spaying the animals so they cannot breed.
Ringo also was the owner of a male tiger named Rhett who was killed when another tiger chewed through his enclosure and attacked him in December. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission report says training for emergency situations needs to be implemented at the facility.
Thunderhawk said the attack would never have occurred if he were on the property.
“There are things you can do to get the tiger to back off,” he said after the court proceeding. “That tiger got killed because of their ineptitude.”
Those representing CFAR — including Sharon Farrar, Thunderhawk’s former girlfriend who banned him from her property — declined to comment.
“They are breaking my heart but I will never give up,” a teary Thunderhawk said. The animals “don’t belong with these amateurs. We will walk together again.”

Once again I must reiterate the comments I posted to the artcle: The Claws Come Out In Tiger Custody Fight.
The most important factors in this matter are the safety and care of these cats, not allowing them to breed, and the safety of the public.
