A baby Siberian tiger named Annabelle stopped by Fine Wine and Beer by Gus in Auburn on Wednesday for a wine tasting benefit aimed at raising money and awareness for Tigers for Tomorrow, an exotic animal rescue organizationlocated in Attalla.

The rescue is the last stop and permanent home for many exotic animals, Sue McCauley, spokesperson for Tigers for Tomorrow, said.

“Annabelle will be with us for the rest of her life,” she said. “As well as the other 110 animals (at the park).”

Before making her way to the rescue, Annabelle performed in a magic show, she said.

The benefit was expected to raise between $1,500 and $3,000 for the non-profit, Gus Clark, owner of the shop, said.

“I’m hoping that the community gets familiar with this issue,” Clark said. “It’s time for us to show our tiger pride.”
