ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) — Anderson County has two new furry residents.

Gunther and Gable, two Siberian tiger cubs now housed at the Little Ponderosa Zoo.

Zoo owner James Cox says he felt they would be the perfect addition to the Little Ponderosa Zoo, which is the only zoo in Anderson County. It also allows visitors to interact with the animals.

The tiger cubs came from a cat rescue in Oklahoma.

Cox says, “I was very fortunate, I met this guy out in OK who runs a big cat rescue, and I told him I was gonna be on the lookout for some babies. He said if I get any pregnant cats, we have babies, you got em, so he donated these to our zoo.”

Gunther and Gable will meet the public Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
