Tiger pug marks found

Canning (WB): Pug marks of a tiger were found by villagers at Bhubaneswari Mahipith in South 24 Parganas district today, forest department sources said.

The villagers noticed the pug marks of the tiger on the banks of the river and immediately informed the forest department personnel, they said.

A forest department team has rushed to the village with cage and other equipment in search of the tiger, the sources added. (PTI)
