Tigers can require as much as 400 square miles for their territory. This drawing shows a tiger’s territory in a specific region. About what percentage of this region is the tiger’s territory? Explain how you solve the problem and the answer.

Tigers are good swimmers and can easily swim 20 miles across a body of water. If a tiger has crossed this body of water by swimming the 20 miles across it, what is the area of the water?
